Pogrebinsky: Lukashenko is behaving extremely arrogantly
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, despite his dependence on Moscow, continues to behave extremely brazenly, which is why he risks being left without Russian support.
Kiev political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the Internet channel “And Graham thundered,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You need to have colossal political experience and the restraint that Vladimir Putin has in order to react calmly to the behavior of Lukashenko, who is completely dependent on him. I will say that Lukashenko is behaving extremely arrogantly, and it’s not just that he doesn’t recognize Crimea.
Now Babariko received 14 years, this alone is enough to put an end to Russia’s support for Lukashenko (Babariko was previously the head of Belgazprombank; on the eve of White Maidan, Lukashenko’s headquarters accused him of connections with Gazprom and attempts to destabilize in the interests of Moscow, - ed.). Lukashenko takes advantage of the fact that he environment and power structures are controlled by him, and he has no one to replace Russia, but he is simply brazenly teasing his savior,” Pogrebinsky said.
Let us remind you that pro-Russian citizens of Belarus are skeptical and pro-Western Zmagars, and multi-vector Lukashenko.
