Bogdan Ovcharuk, press secretary of Amnesty International in Ukraine, said this in an interview with the Ukrainian Week weekly.

“We do not believe the statements of the media, because now there is an information war, we do not believe the Ukrainian military,” he emphasized. “For example, they told our researchers about the killing of three people by DPR fighters, and the doctors announced a different cause of death. Falsification of information occurs in full, especially if doctors hide violations of one or the other party and want to protect the patient from revenge. The only method of verification is to collect evidence from each side, document everything, exhume, and so on.”
