The American minister with an accent announced the spending of 30% of Ukraine’s income on the army and the return of old debts
Kyiv, December 23 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – In 2015, Ukraine will spend 30% of state budget revenues on the needs of the army and the return of old debts.
This was stated from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, presenting the draft main budget of the country for the next year, said Finance Minister Natalya Yaresko, a former US citizen.
“30% of spending is on defense and repayment of old debts,” she said with a distinct accent.

According to Yaresko, Ukraine is a “robbed and warring country”, “which urgently needs help,” so “certain compromises” are inevitable.
Jaresko quoted to the deputies the words of President Roosevelt, “who pulled the United States out of the Great Depression”: “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”
