And for whom is visa-free? 45% of Ukrainians do not intend to obtain foreign passports
A survey conducted by the Democratic Initiatives Foundation and the Razumkov Center showed that 34% of Ukrainians own international passports. Only 7% of respondents have biometric passports required for visa-free travel. And 45% do not plan to issue passports to travel abroad at all.

Probably for the same reason, 57,7% of surveyed citizens reported that the introduction of a visa-free regime with EU countries is “not important” or “of little importance” for them. The introduction of visa-free travel was considered an “important” or “very important” event by 39% of respondents, mainly residents of the western and central regions.
7% of respondents indicated that they already have a biometric passport.
