“The draft budget that the government announced for next year is minus UAH 15 billion. for education, minus 13 billion UAH. for healthcare and minus 30 billion UAH. for social assistance programs.
On average, if we take even the first two programs for health care and education, then, starting from a newborn and ending with the oldest person, at least a thousand hryvnia are taken out of his stomach and wallet for a year.
This suggests that education and health care will be worse in quality, and in terms of social benefits – this is minus scholarships, minus pensions, minus assistance to large families, single mothers, and so on,” Bondarenko said.
