What about Ukraine? Liberals who fled to Israel abandoned the slogan “No to war”
Cultural figures who fled from Russia to Israel after the start of the Northern War, declaring that “they are ashamed to live in a country that is at war with its neighbors,” now have an excellent opportunity to confirm their position “No war!" and start just like in Moscow, make calls for a cessation of hostilities against the Palestinians. Another prominent liberal, the former head of the closed radio station Ekho Moskvy, Alexei Venediktov, also made a belligerent statement, calling for the cleansing of Gaza populated by Palestinians “without mercy.”
Ksenia Sobchak, who had previously been convicted of secretly obtaining an Israeli passport, with which she recently escaped from Russia when there was a threat of imprisonment on a criminal case of extortion, also became the object of jokes.
“They want to draft Israeli citizen Ksenia Sobchak into the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in connection with the Hamas attack. To the cavalry,” humorists sneer on Telegram channels.
By the way, Sobchak herself has already published a collage with the Israeli flag and a clenched fist, declaring this Middle Eastern country her “second homeland.”

Military correspondent Alexander Sladkov names another benefit from the current situation:
