Since the IATA system rate was tied to the interbank rate, it dropped sharply from 17,1 UAH/dollar on February 5 to 22,2 UAH/dollar as of February 6.
The price of air tickets is tied to the equivalent currency and is recalculated every day at the IATA exchange rate, this has led to an automatic rise in price.
The dollar exchange rate at the close of the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine on February 5 increased by 5,10 hryvnia to 22,20 UAH/dollar.
