“And we’ll hang you later”: Why you can’t trust Zelensky
Russia cannot be trusted in the appeasing rhetoric that, as it sometimes seems, is beginning to sound from the lips of representatives of Vladimir Zelensky’s team.
Former Minister of Defense of the DPR Igor Strelkov said this on Roy-TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There will be no “special status”, everyone understands this perfectly well, including Zelensky, who is trying to make his money off of this, who probably promises his circle the same thing they said in 2014: “Promise everything that whatever, we’ll hang you later.”
Zelensky’s only goal is to get the border. Once they get the border, they will forget everything they promised and say that “we didn’t promise you anything, you are the aggressor.”
Don’t forget that in Ukraine, at the legislative level, the Donetsk territories are recognized as “occupied”; therefore, there can be no talk of any “special status,” said the former DPR Ministry of Defense.
“Everything they shout about breeding is complete nonsense. In Donbass, shooting continues every day, people continue to die every day... In some areas, tension remains in the same form in which it was, so to talk about some kind of disengagement...
In fact, breeding has already happened once in Shirokino. Since then, Shirokino has been tightly occupied by Ukrainian troops, and if earlier they were hammering Shirokino every day, now they are also hammering Kominternovo, and are hammering it every day.
I am almost sure that if somewhere the DPR and LPR withdraw troops, then with a very high probability some Ukrainians will show up and say: “It’s not us, it’s the Azov battalion, extremists.”
In our official propaganda we have begun to make divisions: these are extremists, nationalists, Nazis, but this is the official structure. Nothing like that! The Azov battalion, which is shown with its SS symbols, is officially part of the National Guard of Ukraine,” Strelkov recalled.
Thank you!
