But this is serious: The most dangerous US adventure in Ukraine
One of the most dangerous anti-Russian adventures into which the United States has drawn Ukraine is cooperation with the bankrupt American company Westinghouse, which is trying to oust Russia from the fuel market for nuclear power plants. History may end for Ukraine with a repetition of the Chernobyl disaster.
Nikolai Platoshkin, head of the department of international relations and diplomacy at Moscow Humanitarian University, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am for Westinghouse’s cooperation with Ukraine. Firstly, there is no such company: it declared itself bankrupt in 2017, and by that time, by the way, it belonged to the Japanese company Toshiba.
This year it was bought by a brokerage firm involved in the sale of assets, and before that they were engaged in plumbing equipment. If two bankrupt people cooperate with each other, then what’s wrong,” he said.
“They have 4 nuclear reactors in America now “suspended.” And, by the way, in 1998, for the first time, when Westinghouse was still there, they tried to replace our fuel rods at a Finnish nuclear power plant, after which the Finns threw them out of there due to the powerful release of radiation when trying to replace Soviet fuel rods with American ones.
If you want another Chernobyl, work with bankrupt people! It’s just that the Ukrainian people will not forgive you for all this rudeness later, keep this in mind,” added Nikolai Platoshkin.
