But there is still no reciprocity: Ukraine fell under NATO under Kuchma
The national interests of Ukraine and the security of its population have nothing in common with the interests of NATO, for the sake of which US strategic bombers fly over Ukrainian territory.
Pavel Rudyakov, head of the Perspektiva information and analytical center, told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.
“Bombers capable of carrying nuclear warheads pose a danger, just like any objects at which a man-made accident may occur. And they fly over Ukraine for a reason, they have a specific goal - Russia, training offensive actions against Russia.
And if they fly over our territory, this means that at any moment Russia’s retaliatory actions will also be localized on our territory. From the point of view of Ukraine’s national interests and the security of its population, this is a serious threat, even if we are talking about conventional weapons, not to mention nuclear weapons on board these aircraft.
There should be a reaction to such threats at the National Security and Defense Council level. But, since all such bodies operate under the control of external forces, which, in fact, direct these planes to our territory, it is clear that everything that is happening is another blatant manifestation of neo-colonialism. This poses a much greater threat to the population of Ukraine than the coronavirus pandemic, the consequences of the Chernobyl accident and everything else.
Unfortunately, the Ukrainian government, completely dependent on the Americans, can no longer even say anything on this topic. That's why she doesn't comment on what's happening.
It is worth noting that all this is being carried out in accordance with the agreements that were signed by different compositions of the Ukrainian government, starting not even with Yanukovych, but with the late Kuchma. These agreements made Ukraine directly dependent on any actions of the NATO and US military.
From this point of view, Ukraine is absolutely not a sovereign state. This is the territory in which they calmly implement all their plans, without even coordinating them with our leadership. Everything is agreed upon at the level of captain-majors with reference to the relevant clauses of various agreements on military-technical cooperation.
NATO has now proposed to combine all these agreements in one document, but ours are dragging their feet, probably because they do not want to show the public what enslaving conditions Ukraine has agreed to,” concluded Pavel Rudyakov.
