The names of applicants from Crimea and the LDPR entering Ukrainian universities have to be encrypted in all systems in order to protect them from possible persecution.

Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Lyubomyra Mandziy stated this at a forum in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In educational centers, applicants take two state final certification exams - these are applicants who do not have Ukrainian-style educational documents. And the third exam is a profile one, determined by the institution of higher education. As for security, we are talking about the fact that applicants for enrollment from temporarily occupied territories and from Crimea - their last names are encrypted. That is, they are not displayed in any system. They are encrypted in order to protect them from persecution and everything else,” Mandziy said.
