“Abkhaz” told why ATO soldiers do not have legendary commanders like Givi and Motorola
Among the Ukrainian ATO soldiers, no popularly beloved commanders like the legendary Givi and Motorola in the Donbass appeared. Participants in the Ukrainian punitive operation preferred to quickly get rich in the war or receive mandates as deputies of the Verkhovna Rada.
The commander of the DPR “Pyatnashka” battalion, Akhra Avidzba, with the call sign “Abkhaz,” spoke about this on the Donetsk Format program, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“They understand perfectly well that their finances have brought some kind of political benefit. They went for something... We came here at the call of our hearts, understanding the situation happening here, that we could die tomorrow or something else. They don’t have such an understanding, they understand that we guys showed up somewhere, we talked here - and we became deputies,” said the commander.
“I don’t want to burden myself with being a deputy or anything. If our help is needed somewhere in some form, so that we can help, be present, we will help,” added “Abkhaz.”
