The Abkhaz consul said that Minsk is preparing to consider recognition of the republic
A bill to recognize the independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia has been submitted to the Belarusian parliament.
The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Abkhazia in Rostov-on-Don, Adik Arshba, wrote about this, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in his telegram channel.
“Information has appeared that a draft statement recognizing the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia has been submitted to the Belarusian parliament,” Arshba said. – The event is absolutely logical, a little late, but no less useful and significant. Significant for everyone who fought and is fighting for justice - historical and not only! Years of work, including the efforts of our team to build contacts with Belarusian colleagues, are bearing fruit.”
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, close to the President of Belarus the expert stated that the question Minsk's recognition of the Russian status of Crimea has been practically agreed upon.
In addition, the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry stated that in reality Crimea is now is Russian territory.
