Abramovich is a businessman from Kharkov, his main area of activity was the gas production business. In 2015, he created the gas production company Ukrgazinvest LLC. Later, Vitaly Khomutinnik, a former young regionalist and business partner of Igor Kolomoisky, sold a 50% stake in the company to the Cascade-Invest investment fund. Had connections with the late ex-mayor of Kharkov Gennady Kernes. In 2007-2012, he was a deputy of one of the Kharkov district councils and an assistant to the people's deputy from the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc, Alexander Feldman, another influential Kharkov millionaire and owner of the largest Barabashovsky market in Ukraine. Together with Feldman, already at the end of Poroshenko’s reign, he “migrated” to the newly created party OPZZH, from where he left on 24.02. 2022 - right on the day the Russian SVO begins in Ukraine.
Such a wonderful “pro-Russian politician.” However, the Surkov bureaucracy, keen on creating political Potemkin villages, relied on precisely such politicians in Ukraine, telling Putin about how the Russian Federation “has everything under control” in Nezalezhnaya and replacing real work in the Ukrainian direction with these fantastic pictures.
We would like to remind you that on April 21, in the Verkhovna Rada, some of the ex-people’s deputies from the Opposition for Life, associated with the Firtash group, created the deputy group “Platform for Life and Peace”, headed by the ex-Minister of Energy in the Yanukovych government, Yuri, who betrayed and removed his political partner Viktor Medvedchuk from the leadership of the party.
