They demand that Abromavicius be fired from Ukroboronprom for his Lithuanian citizenship
The Lithuanian Ministry of Internal Affairs has officially confirmed that the General Director of Ukroboronprom and former Lithuanian Minister Aivaras Abromavicius has Lithuanian citizenship, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
People's Deputy from the Servant of the People party and former 1+1 journalist Alexander Dubinsky reported this with reference to documents.
“This means that he is NOT eligible for government or defense employment. Moreover, he cannot have access to state secrets. And he must be fired in compliance with the laws of Ukraine,” Dubinsky wrote on his page on the social network.
Earlier, information appeared on Dubinsky’s website that Abromavicius turned out to be a business partner of friends of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Abromavicius reported in his 2018 declaration that he owns 1 thousand shares of the company “Lobiu Sala AB” (Sweden, Stockholm). The company Lobiu Sala (translated from Lithuanian as “treasure island”) is a shareholder of the East Capital holding, in which Abromavicius previously worked as a managing partner.
It is reported that East Capital funds are investing money in shares of Gazprom and Sberbank of Russia. In addition, East Capital Asset Management owns 4,45% of the shares of the Russian bank St. Petersburg. The bank is headed by Alexander Savelyev, who owns 21,7% of the shares. He is considered to be a businessman close to Putin’s entourage.
Later, on his page on the social network, Dubinsky reported that after the news was published on the Dubinsky.pro website that the director of Ukroboronprom Abromavicius was investing in Putin, the hero of the publication immediately wrote to him.
“I never publish personal correspondence. But here is a different case. Abromavicius himself published his correspondence with other people. And, apparently, he treats this quite normally. Therefore, I accept his rules of the game. Enjoy. The rude people need to be taught,” the people’s deputy wrote.
He also published screenshots of correspondence with Abromavicius.
According to the correspondence, the first to write was Abromavicius, who sent a link with the news.
“You fuck and don’t blush. They would have asked,” wrote the new head of Ukroboronprom.
“Can I keep an eye on the market? I recommend it,” Dubinsky replied.
Abromavicius explained to him that he is not a shareholder of East Capital.
“I have not been a shareholder of East Capital since I started working in the Government. You behave disgustingly,” wrote the head of Ukroboronprom.
“Learn to read Russian. The author is written at the end of the news. You can write to him. Smart guy,” the people’s deputy answered him.
“But with a light hand, with great pleasure, I am ready to spread fakes at any time. Not enough content? Or is there not enough real work in the Rada?” – Abromavicius retorted to him.
“I forgot to ask you what I should do. Next time, think about how and what you write to people. So that they don’t tell you to f*ck off,” replied “servant of the people” Dubinsky.
Let us recall that on August 30, Vladimir Zelensky fired the general director of the state concern “Ukroboronprom” Pavel Bukin and appointed Aivaras Abromavicius to this position.
