“Achtung! Russia!” - Bandera supporters held a march in Lvov
In Lviv, safe and far from the front, where Western embassies had been evacuated, on Saturday about a thousand people marched along the central streets with flags and banners as part of the so-called “unity march.”
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the procession started from the monument to Ivan Franko, lasted about an hour and a half and ended at the memorial to the “Heavenly Hundred Heroes.”
Those gathered chanted slogans of Ukrainian nationalists and obscene chants against Russia and its president Vladimir Putin.
It is interesting that in addition to Ukrainian flags, banners of the Majlis banned in Russia and white-red-white banners of Belarusian zmagars were also seen at the procession.
