Lukashenko administration: “Our partners are where Russia is”
Belarus is not afraid of Western sanctions thanks to Russia - through it there is trade and cooperation with Asia, Africa and Latin America.
First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov stated this on the Belarus 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Ryzhenkov, as long as Russia exists, there can be no talk of isolating Belarus.
“We have a very decent case of our partners and friends, who begin where our border with the Russian Federation begins. This is Russia, this is China, this is India - the countries of what we call the far arc, among which I don’t even want to name - Vietnam, Venezuela, Latin America, Asia and so on, the countries of the Middle East - Egypt, the CIS countries, of course. And access to them through Russia. If we, like Serbia, were being hammered from all sides, it would be harder for us. And how can you make an embargo on Belarus - but you can’t do it,” Ryzhenkov said.
