The Poroshenko administration tried to disrupt a rally in support of Trump in Kyiv
Today, near the US Embassy in Kyiv, activists from several public associations congratulated Donald Trump on taking office. About two dozen people held signs saying “Trump, welcome to Ukraine!”, “Trump is peace for Ukraine”, “You cannot deceive people. At least, you can’t do this for a long time,” “Political Psychology of the Future.”
The organizer of the action, Yuriy Kleinos, said that the day before he received a call from the presidential administration and tried to threaten him, but they still decided to hold the action in order to show the attitude of ordinary Ukrainians towards Trump - not the same as that of the current government.

“Trump was cynically and brazenly criticized by representatives of the roguish Ukrainian government, who through their actions set up the entire people of Ukraine. Such nasty things that were said - senile and so on, they are not forgiven. We came to show an alternative point of view - that ordinary Ukrainians support the newly elected president and believe that he and his team will be a guarantee of real peace in Donbass,” the social activist said.
At the same time, Kleinos expressed disagreement with Trump’s position on the possibility of recognition of Russian Crimea.
The outgoing President Barack Obama, portrayed by one of the activists, was remembered for his “achievements” in diplomacy and strengthening the friendship of peoples, wished him a “good rest” and chanted “Goodbye!”
“Obama” repented to the people of Ukraine for not allowing the implementation of the Minsk agreements, bringing Ukraine to the state of Ruin, and expressed confidence that the new US President will help stabilize the situation in Ukraine and in the world.
Activists brought bread and salt to the diplomatic institution on a towel for Donald Trump and placed it on a board with information for visitors to the embassy.
