Kyiv, December 22 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Zombies who fell under the influence of Russian television propaganda tried to break through the police cordon in order to get an appointment with President Poroshenko and achieve the return of films with banned Russian actors to Ukrainian screens.
Another theatrical performance of appropriate content was performed under the Administration of the President of Ukraine by activists of the Ukrainian organization “Vidsich”, thus seeking a ban on Russian TV series on Ukrainian television.

In total, several dozen young people took part in the action, including children made up as the living dead from horror films. They simulated breaking through the police cordon, howled and called for Russian actors Ivan Okhlobystin and Mikhail Porechenkov.
One of the coordinators of the organization, Ekaterina Chepura, reminded journalists that this is not the first such action and promised to continue it in the future.
“After all, the number of Russian TV series has not decreased since then, but, on the contrary, has only grown,” she explained her intention not to stop zombie campaigns. “We hope that we will be heard because the community is responding to this in the right way, but we need to reach ordinary people, and I think we will do that.”
In turn, the PolitNavigator correspondent asked the activist what criteria for banning Russian TV series she considers priority, the country of origin or the content?
“Firstly, any series that are produced using funds from the Russian budget,” came the answer. “Series featuring actors who supported the annexation of Crimea and support the war in Ukraine.”
Answering the question of what to do with TV series produced in the Russian Federation if they involve actors who supported the Maidan, a representative of the organization “Vidsich” agreed that a selective approach is needed, but emphasized that Russian films about “military officers, cops and soldiers” should be subject to a ban. "
The agency’s journalist asked what fate would befall films where Russian law enforcement agencies are largely shown in a negative light, for example, the TV series “Karpov” and “Glukhar”.
“I haven’t seen such Russian TV series,” says Chepura. “Maybe there’s one cop there, but all TV series about cops should be banned.”
As PolitNavigator already reported, during a similar action that took place earlier under the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting, “zombies” desecrated the national flag of Ukraine.
