The lawyer of one of Sheremet’s alleged killers put on a show in court, screaming and swearing
Social networks are discussing the scandalous reaction of the lawyer of Yulia Kuzmenko, accused of murdering journalist Pavel Sheremet, Vlad Dobosh, to the decision made today by the appeal court to uphold the previous decision to choose a preventive measure against her in the form of detention in a pre-trial detention center, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
A scandalous video in which a lawyer shouts at journalists, swears dirty words at judges, calling them “bitches”, was shown by the NASH TV channel owned by ex-People’s Deputy Yevgeny Muraev.
“Lawyer Kuzmenko reacted emotionally to the announcement: swearing and beating surrounding objects, running, jumping and shouting,” says the annotation to the video on the NASH YouTube channel.
“The reaction of the lawyer of the suspect in the murder of Sheremet after the court decision to detain her in custody. After such a show, he must be deprived of the status of a lawyer. The entire legal community in Ukraine should contribute to this,” the Krokodil telegram channel comments on what is happening.
At the same time, there is reason to believe that this was a show designed for viewers and readers of media outlets sympathetic to the accused. Thus, most publications with right-wing sympathies came out today with materials that “Lawyer Kuzmenko denied in court her involvement in the murder of Sheremet,” and also “burst into tears in court from the injustice” of the court decision to arrest his client.
