Savchenko’s lawyer demands a repeat polygraph examination of Nadya
The lawyer of the arrested people's deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, Konstantin Globa, asks the SBU to re-test his client with a “lie detector,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Globa wrote about this on Savchenko’s Facebook page.
“In order to set the record straight,” Globa wrote.
At the same time, he called the conclusions of the polygraph test results of Savchenko, which the SBU released yesterday, biased and premature.
“At first, during the examination, they said that for health reasons N. Savchenko could not pass the polygraph; she needed to end her hunger strike. No conclusion was provided. Then I made a request to provide me, as a defender, with the results of the examination; there is still no response. Subsequently, statements appeared that Savchenko, as a soldier and prisoner of war, was trained and mastered a technique that allows her to bypass the polygraph. The question is, who, where, when, how taught her this, evidence? Last week, Savchenko decided to interrupt his fast and prepare a defense request for another examination - a polygraph. And the most interesting moment: After this, the SBU makes a loud statement that they managed to conduct the first polygraph and the examination gave results. The statement says that the polygraph gave results partially on the question of preparation for a crime, but on other questions Savchenko somehow began to oppose the polygraph. However, for some reason no one notes what other questions were raised that Savchenko opposed,” Globa emphasized.
According to him, it is also interesting that the issues that Savchenko seemed to begin to counteract were stated by himself for objective research.
Also, according to the lawyer, the question logically arises: why would Savchenko submit a number of questions for examination and, as a result, oppose the examination of precisely these questions?
Let us remind you that, according to the latest statement of the SBU, the results of decoding answers to questions from experts when arrested MP Nadezhda Savchenko took a “lie detector” confirmed her intentions about “readiness to carry out an armed coup d’etat with the physical destruction of Ukrainian politicians.”
