The lawyer of the killed Maidan workers now blames the current government
On the fourth anniversary of the Maidan, the investigation into the murders of protest participants was actually blocked, due to the fact that those who came to power as a result of the Maidan had agreements with the killers.

The lawyer of the Heavenly Hundred families, Vitaly Titich, stated this in a conversation with a correspondent of the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They have already talked a lot about this, there is a court case in the Svyatoshinsky court. The process is underway. This is in fact the only process in Ukraine regarding crimes against participants in peaceful protests that has been brought to court and is being carried out properly. In other cases, we can talk about ongoing sabotage of these investigations, as Gorbatyuk very tolerantly said yesterday. He feels that the state leadership is not interested in this investigation, it is not a priority. I would say moreover, throughout the entire period we have been monitoring attempts to impede the normal investigation,” the lawyer said.
According to him, on November 20, attempts to procedurally block the work of the investigation ended.
“I wouldn’t like to go into conspiracy theories. Everyone can understand in their own way how they see it. It is obvious to me that there are certain agreements between the so-called new government and those who committed these crimes. This is implemented at different levels – from blocking investigations to creating certain preferences. This is obvious not even to the lawyer, but to the person who monitors it,” says the lawyer.
He also stated that the lawyers had collected evidence that would be “presented to the court in a renewed Ukraine.”
“There hasn't really been any change. These are actually the same people who were there before. Therefore, to expect them, as in that joke, to come out on their own as a result of the investigation... well, you know, it would be strange. The only thing that surprises me is that it ended so quickly that society didn’t have the desire to hold on a little more. I thought we could still hold out. But on the fourth anniversary, we have the actual destruction of the investigation and the blocking of procedures aimed at establishing it,” says Titich.
