Ukrainian sailor's lawyer: There is no torture, the attitude is normal
The lawyer of one of the Ukrainian sailors detained after a provocation in the Kerch Strait, Mammet Mambetov, admitted that his clients do not complain about bad treatment, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“My client Andrei Oprysko reported that there was no psychological or physical impact on him. Everything he knew, he reflected in the interrogation, it is recorded in the protocol, which is available in the materials of the criminal case. There are no visible signs of violence against him. In response to my question, he said that nothing like that had happened, everything was fine, everything was fine,” Mambetov said.
Another Ukrainian sailor, Yuriy Budzylo, also told reporters that he had no complaints.
Oprysko, like other Ukrainian military personnel whose cases were considered today by the Kiev District Court of Simferopol, was given a preventive measure in the form of detention. Mambetov said that he intends to appeal this decision because he considers his client innocent.
