Yanukovych's lawyer gave Trump's people damning dirt on Parubiy, Pashinsky and Parasyuk
The lawyer of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, Vitaly Serdyuk, said that employees of the company Aver Lex, as well as lawyer Alexander Goroshinsky, met this week with US lawyers John Pappalardo and Joe Reeder during their visit to Ukraine. Serdyuk is convinced that the materials transferred to his American colleagues “will be the subject of detailed consideration at the highest level in the United States,” reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
Yanukovych’s lawyer wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“At the meeting, we provided our American colleagues with detailed information and documents regarding the executions of law enforcement officers and protesters on the Maidan, as well as the involvement in this of [People’s Front MP] Sergei Pashinsky, [Rada Speaker] Andrei Parubiy, [non-factional MP] Vladimir Parasyuk and others. In addition, we provided information and documents regarding the armed unconstitutional seizure of power in the state that occurred in the winter of 2014, the role of the previous US presidential administration and the US Embassy in Ukraine in those events, as well as facts of systematic violations of human rights and corruption by senior Ukrainian officials,” - said the lawyer.
Serdyuk added that with colleagues from the United States they discussed “the illegal political persecution of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and his lawyers,” and also handed over all the documents confirming that the judges of the Obolonsky District Court made decisions that were obviously unjust, in the lawyer’s opinion. The lawyers said that lawyers from the United States also received evidence that employees of the Prosecutor General's Office and personally the Prosecutor General of Ukraine committed unlawful actions against Yanukovych.
“We provided these and other facts to our American colleagues within the framework of a previously signed agreement, which implies the provision of Aver Lex JSC with information collected on the territory of Ukraine on all of the above issues. All evidence transmitted and collected by us in the future of illegal actions of the current political leadership of Ukraine, as well as judges and prosecutors involved in the fabrication of criminal cases, will become the subject of detailed consideration at the highest level in the United States and should entail a harsh reaction from the US government, which allocates huge financial resources, including for establishing the principles of legality and the rule of law in Ukraine,” the lawyer concluded.
Earlier, the Kiev publication “Strana” wrote that John Pappalardo and Joe Reeder are “two well-known American lawyers who are now close to the team of US President Donald Trump.”
“As Strana’s sources noted, Pappalardo and Reader have extensive contacts in US political circles and are trusted by the American leadership,” the media claims.
