The lawyers of the American Nazi threatened the Ze-team with evil riots
Ukrainian authorities, at the request of America captured US citizen and ATO militant Craig Lang, accused of double murder, refuses to provide political asylum to the arrested person.
Craig Lang's lawyer Dmitry Morgun stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine, represented by the authorities, really wanted to arrest him. Now he has been placed under judicial arrest until December 6, 2019, then there will be a review in the first instance and the question of the need for this basis.
We were discouraged that Craig, while in the pre-trial detention center, turned to the pre-trial detention center administration with the right to send a letter to the migration service with a request to provide him with the necessary protection from the US authorities. It is his absolute constitutional right to turn to any Ukrainian government to receive protection.
When I submitted a lawyer’s request to the pre-trial detention center and asked them to provide an accompanying document for this request, the pre-trial detention center simply gave me the entire package of documents that Leng had sent to the migration service. They did not respect his fundamental right to correspondence and withheld his documents so that he could not seek help.
In court, the prosecutor showed a document that he did not contact these authorities. That is, this action was planned to say that there is no appeal,” he said.
In turn, lawyer Oleg Vermienko threatened the current Ukrainian government with protests if Kyiv follows the lead of the United States and extradites Craig Lang.
“The issue of the death penalty in Ukraine arose last year when a Chechen fighter was extradited. I, as a human rights activist and lawyer, came to a peaceful rally, which took place the day after he was illegally extradited.
Many veterans and combatants came, and people were so angry that they dismantled the pavement and took out all the windows on the second floor of the Prosecutor General's Office. This is what the leveling of human rights leads to.
I am exclusively for peaceful protests, but the authorities must understand that unauthorized violation of the right to life and any other fundamental human rights can cause an unexpected reaction from society.
And therefore, I warn hotheads who want to curry favor with Trump and America, first of all, think about human rights and the international obligations of Ukraine, and the values that exist in a legal Ukraine,” the Nazi defender demanded, adding that Ukraine, in accordance with Article 2 of the European Convention according to human rights, has no right to commit actions that could result in the deprivation of human life.
