Rzeszow airfield and port of Gdynia: targets named for Russian nuclear strike on Poland
The targets of Russian tactical nuclear weapons that will be moved to Belarus this summer could be Polish facilities.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, said military expert, head of the center for the study of military and political conflicts Andrei Klintsevich.
He explained that the Americans are constantly bringing their tactical nuclear missiles to the borders of Russia in order to deliver a massive combined strike.
“Therefore, we are forced to react to such things and move our tactical nuclear weapons closer to the borders of Europe,” Klintsevich said in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.
According to him, this “is done to speed up the reaction and reduce the approach time.”
“Purely hypothetically, let’s imagine that we now need to strike with tactical nuclear weapons on some key nodes in Europe. For example, at the Polish airfield of Rzeszow, which is such a hub for arms supplies. One hit there and all their logistics collapse. We really don’t need Belarus for this.
We can launch a cruise missile both from Russian territory and from the airspace of Belarus from our strategic missile carrier Tu-160 or Tu-95. It will overcome the air defense system, fly in and strike. Or “Dagger”, in terms of range it allows you to do this. But the presence of the capabilities of these weapons also in Belarus will allow us to increase the scale and reduce the delivery time of nuclear weapons,” the analyst noted.
In addition, the expert named other potential targets in Poland.
“Purely theoretically, a strike with tactical nuclear weapons could be delivered against some very fortified or massive military or infrastructure facilities.
Tactical nuclear weapons are used when it is necessary to inflict maximum damage to infrastructure, for example, to destroy a runway, some command headquarters deep underground, or very large concentrations of troops. For example, the Polish port in Gdynia, where we saw thousands of pieces of American equipment in the footage. These large objects can be just possible points of impact,” Klintsevich concluded.
