Aeroflot took away VIP status from a liberal who claimed that there were no fascists on the Maidan
Aeroflot deprived the Russian liberal blogger Dmitry Aleshkovsky of the points he earned under the bonus program due to criticism of the company’s management.
So, the day before, Aleshkovsky posted on his blog a scanned copy of the order of the General Director of Aeroflot PJSC Vitaly Savelyev, by which he prohibited the use of mobile phones capable of taking photos and videos in the company’s offices.
Yesterday, Aleshkovsky received a letter from Aeroflot by email notifying him of the withdrawal of bonuses.
“We would like to inform you that due to the publication of negative statements addressed to Aeroflot PJSC on your part, based on the Rules of the Airport Bonus program, by decision of the airline management, your account in the Aeroflot Bonus program is closed, the Platinum level is invalid. The gift card account level has also been lowered,” the message says.
Aleshkovsky called this censorship on the part of the airline management.
“Have you even heard about Article 29 of the Constitution? It's written there in black and white. Everyone is guaranteed freedom of thought and speech. No one can be forced to express or renounce their opinions and beliefs. Everyone has the right to freely seek, receive, transmit, produce and disseminate information by any lawful means. Freedom of the media is guaranteed. Censorship is prohibited,” Aleshkovsky wrote.
The blogger promised to go to court with a demand to reinstate his rights and gave Aeroflot three days to do this. He later clarified that his wife was also deprived of the airline’s “gold card”.
Earlier, Aleshkovsky visited post-Maidan Kyiv and said that he saw there not “fascists” and Banderaites, but “wonderful and good-natured people.”
“While various “official” experts and propagandists, as well as armchair experts echoing them, tell the mass listener/viewer/reader that Kiev is filled with fascists and Banderaites, who infringe on the rights of Russian-speaking people and generally create horror and chaos, in fact in Kiev everything is quiet and calm, there are wonderful and good-natured people here who are united in their impulse to defend their homeland from destruction. And, what is absolutely certain, they all know that what is destroying their homeland is not the people of Russia (despite their almost universal zombification), but their leadership,” Aleshkovsky argued.
Earlier, PolitNavigator wrote that in the skies over the Moscow region due to a pilot error Two passenger planes almost collided.
