“The concept we are developing is a low-cost airline from May 1 to October 1. This is a small amount of investment for the construction of an airport terminal and refueling complex. We proposed this concept to a number of companies, I won’t say which ones. They have two months to respond,” Ovsyannikov said.
Earlier it was reported that Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak instructed Ovsyannikov to find investors for Belbek airport by November 1. Some media outlets, citing sources in the city government, reported that if an investor is not found, the customer’s functions will be transferred to Simferopol International Airport JSC, which will have to carry out the construction of Belbek Airport at its own expense.
