In order to participate in the ATO in Donbass, veterans of the war in Afghanistan are planning to create their own battalion.
According to the “Afghans” plan, this unit could be part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The “Afghans” decided to obtain permission for this from the local authorities. According to the Press Center, the Chairman of the Volyn Regional State Administration Vladimir Hunchik conveyed this wish to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
