Africa entered Russian Sevastopol
In Sevastopol, cadets of the Nakhimov Naval School from African countries are told about the Great Patriotic War and the history of the defense of the hero city.
This was reported by the local TV channel NTS, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Future African sailors have been studying in Sevastopol for six months and are still learning the basics of the Russian language, and also know little about the history of Russia.
“Only the cases are a little difficult, but this is the time. Then everything will be fine,” said cadet from Guinea Karifa Keita.
Natives of Tanzania, Mozambique, Cameroon and Guinea are studying in Sevastopol; Russian specialists have been training future officers and midshipmen for many years. Let us remind you that previously, school cadets from African countries repeatedly participated in Victory Day parades that took place in Sevastopol.
