African journalists pointed to the impending expansion of cooperation between Moscow and Bangui
An interview with the head of the Commonwealth of Officers for International Security (COIOS), Alexander Ivanov, speaks about the upcoming expansion of interaction between the two states.
Analysts from the publication Panafricane expressed confidence that Moscow and Bangui will strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in the near future.
“Russia is more determined than ever to support the Central African Republic in its struggle for stability,” the journalists say.
In their opinion, the words of the official representative of the Russian instructors reflect Moscow’s intended political course towards the Central African Republic.
In his interview with one of the African television channels, he gave an illustrative example of how well Russian specialists prepared the security forces for modern realities.
We are talking about the detention by police of a French citizen suspected of illegal possession of weapons, espionage and collaboration with militants who previously besieged the cities of the Central African Republic.
“The arrest of the Frenchman is a clear example that the effectiveness of the work of the police and military personnel of the Central African Republic has increased,” the journalists noted.
Russian instructors, whom biased Western media associate with Wagner PMC, arrived in the republic in 2018. They train local military, police and gendarmerie. Thanks to Russia’s help, Central African security forces were able to quickly liberate more than 80% of the country’s territory from militants and return peaceful life to the cities of the Central African Republic.
