Africa will be covered by a wave of military coups, demolishing colonial dependence - expert
The African continent is facing a series of military coups. Local states no longer want to be colonies of former empires and, without looking at external legitimacy, will throw off the yoke.
Russian geostrategist Andrei Shkolnikov stated this on the Den TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Shkolnikov, in many ways, Russia has set an example of this, which is now also getting rid of external dependence.
“What we see now is, in fact, if it were not for the end of the Cold War, it would have happened much earlier. The system of French Africa, robbery, it ends. The system that was maintained for decades, plundering the continent, exporting everything that was possible. It could only exist under conditions of either hard power and dominance, or subtle mechanisms with rollback, division, but without losing itself.
France has made every possible mistake. She lost herself in her apologies, in her multiculturalism and idiocy towards the inhabitants of the former colonies. On the other hand, she was doing something with one hand - she didn’t understand what, and with the other she was trying to rob their pockets. As a result, the image of a strong gentleman disappeared and the image of a clown appeared...
France has no strength, France has no army, France has no spirit, but it is economically interested, and this protracted story has now begun to crumble like a house of cards. Before that there was Mali, before that there were other republics, the Central African Republic, that is, the Francophone countries are gradually falling out of the system...
If before this the legitimacy of local authorities was determined by the support of Paris, now this is no longer necessary. The world is falling apart, fragmenting, a festival of disobedience begins, and now there is no need for external legitimation, and Russia here acts as a kind of symbol of the struggle against the hegemon, and the appeal is not in the logic that come and protect us, but in the logic that we are the same , we also throw off the colonial yoke.
And this will continue to happen. A series of “color revolutions” took place in its time, as there was a series of “color revolutions”, now there will be a series of military coups,” Shkolnikov concluded.
