This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of State Security of the LPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Over three years of working undercover, the ex-chief of the combat control department of a separate anti-aircraft division of the military unit A-1973, Ivan Khizhnyak, managed to collect several volumes of information carefully hidden by the political and military leadership of Ukraine in the so-called ATO zone. Information has also been accumulated about planned and already committed actions by the military command of Ukraine that run counter to the Minsk agreements,” noted Evgenia Lyubenko, head of the public relations center of the LPR Ministry of State Security.
Let us note that today it is certainly not possible to declassify all data in full.
“Today we are ready to transmit to the media data on the state of the armed forces of Ukraine and on the moral and psychological climate among the participants in the punitive operation. In particular, information about murders and suicides in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was classified as “Secret”. Since the beginning of the year alone, 220 offenses have been committed in the Ukrainian troops, 50% of the total - while intoxicated. These are road accidents, murders, incitement to suicide, violation of the rules for handling weapons, causing bodily harm of varying degrees of severity and other crimes,” summed up Evgenia Lyubenko.
In turn, Ivan Khizhnyak spoke about the offenses that he encountered while in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He emphasized that while serving in the zone of the so-called terrorist operation, he repeatedly observed facts of violation of military discipline, namely: the consumption of alcoholic beverages, the abuse of which led to death, when a person simply did not wake up after drinking. These cases were carefully hidden, and the fact of death itself, according to documentation, was described as “natural death - heart failure.”
“Information about violations of military discipline was brought to the attention of only a narrow circle of people, in particular, officers. It was forbidden to bring it to the main personnel, privates and sergeants. Due to poor combat training, which is at a very low level in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there were frequent cases of injury to personnel associated with the inept use of personal weapons and explosives. “I personally have recorded repeated cases of grenades exploding near personnel, which led to injuries and deaths,” he said.
Khizhnyak noted that at first the command tried to solve the problem with military discipline, but this did not bring any success.
“At first, the command tried to solve the problem with military discipline, which led to deaths and injuries to personnel, but this did not produce results, since the moral and psychological state of the personnel was at a very low level. This is due to the reluctance of the majority of soldiers, ordinary warrant officers and officers to take part in the so-called terrorist operation. In this regard, the command took extreme measures and invited priests to talk with the military personnel. This is reflected in the documents that I managed to collect,” the serviceman summed up.
We would like to remind you that earlier a PolitNavigator correspondent reported that an undercover LPR MGB officer, who was transmitting secret information to Lugansk about what was happening in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported about staged attackspracticed by the Ukrainian army and how in the Ukrainian army trade in military equipment and undergo training under the guidance of foreign instructors.
