Kremlin agents are fanning hysteria – Omelyan
Ukraine has never been friends with Russia, and the Russian Federation, on the contrary, periodically organized the “occupation” of Ukrainian lands.
Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the minister, the cancellation of passenger railway communication with Russia is not a blow to friendly relations, but another demonstration of independent Ukrainian policy.
“We see hysteria, mainly in the Russian media, and their agents in Ukraine, who are trying in every possible way to disperse that this is another blow to Russian-Ukrainian friendship. There is no friendship and never has been. There was either a permanent occupation or simply massacres,” Omelyan said.
Previously, he admitted that from early childhood his mother raised him as a young Bandera member, talking about the “occupation” of Ukraine by the Bolsheviks
“If dad put the emphasis on the state, then mom put the emphasis on Ukraine. That’s why, from childhood, I knew who Bandera’s supporters were, who the Cossacks were, who fought for what, that communists were people who came with weapons and captured Ukraine and that they were occupiers, so I had no doubts here,” said the minister .
