Putin's agents blocked one of the main highways in Kyiv
In Kyiv on Wednesday evening, protesters blocked the Kharkov highway, blocking traffic on the Left Bank. This is stated in a message from the Facebook group “Kyiv Operational”.
People took to the streets late yesterday evening, and the closures continued this morning. The reason for the discontent was the disconnection of electricity and water supplies to houses.
“The demands of the protesters remain unchanged - water and electricity, without which people have been surviving for the 4th day,” the message says.
In turn, “Kievpasstrans” stated that the blockade of the highway paralyzed the work of trams and minibuses.
Social networks note that a number of houses were cut off from supply due to the fact that the developer did not put them into operation.
The editor-in-chief of the Liva website, Andrei Manchuk, stated in his blog that another reason for the protests was the increase in tariffs for housing and communal services.

“...Putin’s agents bucked. Mankurts do not want to pay utility bills at European rates. They do not want to endure without water and light, in a terrible time of aggression, in the name of the sacred task of national construction. Although the days are long and bright now. And the Dnieper is at your side - go and wash yourself. True, judging by the record pollution of the river, that’s what everyone is doing this year,” Manchuk wrote with irony.
