Agrarian greatness is in question: the European Union did not allow Ukraine to supply more agricultural products to its market
The European Parliament Committee on International Trade voted against increasing import quotas for Ukrainian wheat, tomatoes and urea.

Bloomberg reports this with reference to the committee's decision.
“The EU should offer further trade preferences to Ukraine, but some agricultural products do not require additional EU support,” the agency said.
As reported, in September 2016, the European Commission proposed increasing quotas for a number of product items from Ukraine. They discussed the possibility of increasing the quota for corn - by 650 thousand tons, wheat - 100 thousand tons, barley - 350 thousand tons, cereals and processed grain - by 7,8 thousand tons, oats - 4 thousand tons, honey - 3 thousand tons, grape juice - 500 tons, processed tomatoes - 5 thousand tons.
In March 2017, the European Parliament's Committee on Agrarian Affairs voted against increasing quotas for grains and processed tomatoes from Ukraine.
Let us remind you that, within the framework of the Association Agreement with the EU, Ukraine can supply 36 commodity items to the European Union without duties within the approved volumes of tariff quotas. Supply quotas for beef are 12 thousand tons, milk, yoghurt, fermented milk products - 8 thousand tons, milk powder - 1,5 thousand tons, butter - 1,5 thousand tons, egg products - 1,5 thousand tons, eggs - 3 thousand tons, pork - 40 thousand tons.
The volume of tariff quotas provided for by the EU's autonomous trade preferences for wheat was 950 thousand tons, barley - 250 thousand tons, corn - 400 thousand tons, sugar - 20 thousand tons, honey - 5 thousand tons, processed tomatoes - 10 thousand tons, grape and apple juice - 10 thousand tons, oats - 4 thousand tons, garlic - 500 tons.
