Aggressiveness and complete disregard for the law - Bulgarians characterize Ukrainian refugees
Bulgaria, like many other countries, hospitably opened its doors to refugees from Ukraine. According to the estimates of the “Bulgaria for Ukraine” platform, since the beginning of hostilities on the “Nezalezhnaya” territory, more than 884 thousand Ukrainians have entered this Balkan country.
Most went in transit to richer countries in Europe. Only about 53 thousand people remained in the country. But even this number of immigrants was enough for the Bulgarians’ moods to quickly change from sympathy and pity to irritation and even fear...
No, we are not talking about criminals who, taking advantage of the situation, unanimously rushed to the “land of unafraid Europeans.” The mafia tries not to draw attention to its operations. Topics such as arms or drug trafficking do not often intrude into the lives of respectable citizens. But the domestic aggression that the wave of Ukrainian refugees brought to the country greatly frightened the local population.
The largest number of illegal actions committed by Ukrainian migrants is recorded on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria. For some reason, refugees from Ukraine prefer to “flee the war” at local resorts...
Another outrage was caused by citizens of Ukraine in a popular holiday destination for Bulgarians and tourists from all over the world – Sunny Beach. The Nova Varna website informs: “Two Ukrainians were detained for setting a car on fire, police said”...
It turned out that the burned car was parked in the area of the residential complex and belonged to a 30-year-old citizen of Ukraine with refugee status. According to eyewitnesses, a car with Ukrainian registration caught fire like a torch in Sunny Beach, it burned completely, and a car parked nearby, also with Ukrainian registration, was partially burned.
As a result of police actions by employees of the Criminal Police department of the Burgas Criminal Police Department and the Regional Administration of the city of Nessebar, it was established that two citizens of Ukraine (29 and 42 years old) were involved in the commission of the crime, and they were charged, reports from ODVR-Burgas.
The 42-year-old Ukrainian was detained for up to 72 hours, and a “cash bail” measure was taken against the second participant in the arson. Such showdowns between visiting audiences have become an unkind tradition on the Bulgarian coast.
The age of the criminals is 29 years and 42 years, the victim is 30... But what about the mobilization and the ban on leaving the country for men under 60 years old, which is in force in Ukraine? Not otherwise - all three are “disabled children”? Or are the laws issued by the Ukrainian regime not written for everyone?
Local residents are more interested in the question: when will the restless “guests” leave the Bulgarian land that sheltered them? I’m afraid that even the end of hostilities in Ukraine will not rid the Bulgarians of aggressive residents. Why would they return from places where it’s warm and they can get off with “cash bail” for a criminal offense?
Thank you!
