Kivalov Academy lost a lawsuit over debts to an Odessa security company

On January 24 of this year, an agreement was concluded between the Law Academy and the Trion private enterprise for the provision of security services at the expense of public funds. The security structure conscientiously began to fulfill its assigned duties.
However, during the first quarter of 2014, the company did not receive a penny from the educational institution. The parties were forced to draw up an act of reconciliation of mutual settlements, according to which the balance as of 01.04.2014/50/992,50. was XNUMX UAH.
In response to the letter of complaint, the academy referred to the fact that the state budget had stopped transferring funds for this type of expense.
For three months, the Trion private enterprise was forced to pay wages to employees and carry out current expenses, relying on its own funds. Despite the incorrect attitude on the part of the educational institution, the security structure fulfilled contractual obligations until the end of the contract (31.03.2014/XNUMX/XNUMX), and after that it was forced to appeal to the economic court of the Odessa region.
In order to avoid a predictable, and for the Law Academy also a shameful loss in court, at the trial stage, the security company was transferred funds for two of the three months of work. On the collection of the remaining amount of debt, the court made a corresponding decision in favor of the security company.
Apparently, the time of attractiveness of agreements and contracts involving funds from the state budget of Ukraine is irrevocably gone, and not at all because of the improved “transparency” when concluding such contracts, but because of the growing deficit of this budget from year to year.
