The corresponding decree was signed on Friday by the acting Head of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sergei Aksenov.
“In connection with the ongoing events in the cities of the South-East of Ukraine, as a result of which there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population, in order to eliminate possible provocations from extremists who have the opportunity to penetrate the territory of the Republic of Crimea and to avoid disruption of the holiday season in the Republic of Crimea
1. Prohibit the holding of mass events on the territory of the Republic of Crimea until June 6, 2014.
2. To propose to the authorities of the Republic of Crimea, local government bodies, and cultural institutions located in the Republic of Crimea to cancel planned mass events during the specified period,” the document says,” the text of the document says.
As Navigator reported, Stavropol riot police arrived in the center of Simferopol on Thursday.
