In Moscow, mass detentions of participants in an unauthorized rally of supporters of Alexei Navalny began on Pushkin Square. The RBC TV channel reports this.

“They grab people, wring their hands. They don’t use special equipment,” said a correspondent from the scene.
The footage shows how police officers drive protesters away from the pedestal of the monument, and they return there again.
Earlier, the police warned those gathered that the rally was unsanctioned and asked them not to succumb to provocations and to disperse.
