Akhedzhakova said that she has been playing a pig all her life
Known for her scandalous liberal demarches, actress Liya Akhedzhakova admitted that her first role, played in the Youth Theater, had an influence on her life.
She stated this in an interview with the Dozhd TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“At that time I was playing the play “The Three Little Pigs.” I was the middle pig Nuf-Nuf. And I sang: “The gray wolf is not afraid of us.” And this mantra turned out to be prophetic. To this day I sing: “We are not afraid of the gray wolf,” said Akhedzhakova.
Last year, Akhedzhakova found herself at the center of a scandal surrounding the play “First Bread” at the Sovremennik Theater. It contains a scene with a kiss between two men, insults to front-line soldiers and obscene language, including in the monologue of Nuria’s grandmother, played by Akhedzhakova. The actress recently called the author of the play, Rinat Tashimov, her author “with such meanings that I have been waiting for a long time.”
