Akhmetov persuades riot participants in Donetsk to seek a compromise with Kiev - otherwise there will be an assault
Donetsk, April 08 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The richest oligarch Rinat Akhmetov arrived to the activists who seized the Donetsk regional state administration and began to persuade them to send a delegation to negotiate with Ukrainian government officials.

Akhmetov explained that he would personally ask Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Yarema that the authorities abandon plans for the assault.
“We will go to Yarema and ask that there should not be an assault... I will come and ask that there should be no assault... If blood is shed tomorrow, who will be better off? Let’s go, let’s go,” Akhmetov persuaded.
As a result, one of the protest leaders decided to negotiate.
The demonstrators do not believe Akhmetov, pointing to the information policy pursued by his TV channel “Ukraine”.
