Akhmetov and Kolomoisky are not on the lists, because they still hope to reach an agreement with them
The largest oligarchs of Ukraine, Rinat Akhmetov and Igor Kolomoisky, are not on the sanctions lists published by Russia today - apparently, they are still hoping to reach an agreement with them.
Political commentator Ruslan Ostashko stated this on the Rossiya 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We must understand that sanctions are not imposed against those against whom they are imposed, they are introduced to put pressure on those who are not on this sanctions list. Why aren’t Akhmetov and Kolomoisky there? Because you can still talk to them about something, this is a signal to them. We are ready to talk with everyone who can lead to peace in Donbass and restore our relations,” Ostashko said.
