Aksenov hinted at the closure of the only Crimean Tatar channel ATR
Moscow-Simferopol, March 24 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The Crimean Tatar TV channel ATR will not work on the territory of the peninsula if it continues to play “into the hands of Ukraine.”

This follows from the words of the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, said today at a press conference in Moscow.
According to Aksenov, the channel’s position “disturbs public opinion.”
“To act today, deciding the interests of Ukraine on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, is futile and unnecessary, and even harmful. We want all media outlets operating in the republic to objectively cover the information that is happening. Criticism of the authorities is accepted from any media, at the same time, disturbing the population by threatening that Crimea will one day return to Ukraine, which will never happen - this is stupid and causes confusion in the minds of certain people. People don’t know what to do, it seems to them that there will be some revenge moments,” said the head of the republic.
Let us remind you that the channel’s license expires on April 1, and Roskomnadzor refuses to register it as a Russian media outlet, citing incorrectly filled out documents as the reason for its decision.
