“This is the prerogative exclusively of our president, our leader. I don't discuss this topic. I am a civil servant and am involved in a specific region,” Aksenov said at the international media forum in Alushta.
One of the journalists reminded Aksenov about cases of arrests of bribe takers in Crimea and asked whether unification with Sevastopol would help the fight against corruption on the peninsula.
Aksenov assured that the situation in Crimea is not extraordinary.
“They are imprisoned for the cause, this is a normal phenomenon. I joke that pre-trial detention centers also need workers. Many have not gotten rid of the Ukrainian bacillus - there is also a “grasping reflex”. The problem of qualified personnel is in all subjects of the Russian Federation,” said the head of Crimea.
Let us recall that the idea of uniting Crimea and Sevastopol was previously voiced by Senator from Simferopol Sergei Tsekov.
