The head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, stated this on the air of the talk show “Gravity” by Liliya Budzhurova.

According to him, the charges of suspicion of extremism, which were brought against the TV channel earlier, are related to the distortion of facts during the referendum period and in the immediate aftermath.
“There is no threat to the ATR TV channel. No one is threatening anyone, there are no investigative measures, and there are no plans. All issues that occur on the TV channel are considered only according to the laws of the Republic of Crimea and the Russian Federation. I have recently received signals that your channel is pursuing some kind of destructive policy related to what causes nervousness among the population of the republic, I do not have such information,” said Sergei Aksenov.
