He stated this during a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Republic.
According to the official, today the queues at the traffic police station reach 700 people. At the same time, the Minister of Transport of the Republic Anatoly Tsurkin said that out of four windows for receiving applications at the MREO, only two are open. And the procedure for re-registration of cars takes place in three stages.
The Minister of Transport also confirmed the problem that PolitNavigator previously wrote about.
“Currently, at MREO, roll call takes place twice in the morning and in the evening in a queue of 650 people, and if a person by chance for some reason does not arrive for roll call, he is crossed out of the queue and placed in the next circle,” Tsurkin said and emphasized that increasing the number of employees will help solve the problem of queues at the traffic police.
