Simferopol, September 28 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – Acting The Head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, expressed deep condolences to the families and friends of those killed in the collapse of the Bypass Road near Simferopol and ordered the urgent creation of a government commission to investigate the incident.

“I express my deep condolences and words of support to the families and friends who died as a result of the collapse of the roadway on the Dubki-Mirnoye highway section near Simferopol. The families of the victims will be provided with all possible assistance, and the victims will receive the necessary comprehensive support,” said Sergei Aksyonov.
The official added that 400 thousand rubles will be paid to relatives for compensation for each deceased, in addition, a similar amount will be paid for each victim.
The government commission for the operational investigation of the incident will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Polonsky.
Sergei Aksenov drew special attention to the need to include independent experts in the commission who had not previously participated in the development of design estimates and control over the implementation of work on the section of the road where the collapse occurred, which would allow obtaining unbiased results of the investigation.
