Aksenov allowed the Crimean coast to be closed to wealthy clients
Crimean authorities allow the closure of the peninsula's beaches for wealthy guests of 5-star hotels. This was stated by the head of the republic Sergei Aksenov.
According to him, hoteliers claim that wealthy tourists do not want to go to Crimea after learning that the hotel does not have its own private beach.

“There are five-star hotels that have the opportunity to pay 5-6 times more rent if they want to close the beaches. At their expense, you can maintain a lot of free municipal beaches. They were counting on such a service as a closed beach. And under Ukraine, these things happened. Hoteliers say that people call and ask if this or that hotel has its own beach, and when they hear that it doesn’t, they don’t want to go,” he said in an interview with Lenta.Ru.
