Aksenov announced this on Monday at a staff meeting in the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the prime minister, such a recommendation was made due to repeated complaints about inflated prices in pharmacies and the charging of “charitable fees” in hospitals on the peninsula.
“Corruption schemes were created even under the previous government; these schemes were not eliminated by the current leadership of the Ministry of Health. All hospitals charge people for providing medical services. In this case, surgical intervention was necessary,” said Sergei Aksenov.
At the same time, he announced a purge of ranks in other ministries if corruption schemes within them were proven:
“We will not allow violations in various areas during the transition period in Crimea. Those officials who will take advantage of the transition period will be deprived of their places,” summed up the acting. head of the republic.
